Sismy, deprem bilgilerini ve yakınınızda hissedilebilecek sarsıntı uyarılarını sunan bir uygulamadır. Bu sayfa, Sismy'yi kullandığınızda hangi bilgilerinizin kullanıldığını, neden kullanıldığını ve bunlar üzerinde neler yapabileceğinizi sade bir dille anlatır.

1.Bu sayfa neyi kapsıyor?

Sismy iPhone ve Android uygulamasını ve uygulamanın bildirim göndermek için kullandığı Sismy sunucusunu kapsar. Uygulama içinden başka bir siteye giderseniz (örneğin deprem verisinin geldiği EMSC veya USGS siteleri), orada o sitenin kendi kuralları geçerlidir.

2.Bilgilerinizden kim sorumlu?

Yasal ifadeyle: 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve Avrupa Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) bakımından "veri sorumlusu" yukarıdaki kişidir.

• Ad, soyad, e-posta, telefon numarası, adres, hiçbiri istenmez. Uygulamada üyelik sistemi yoktur.
• Rehberinize, fotoğraflarınıza, mikrofonunuza, kameranıza, sağlık verilerinize veya takviminize erişilmez.
• Bilgileriniz satılmaz, kiralanmaz.
• Uygulama kapalıyken konumunuz takip edilmez.

Konum en hassas bilgi olduğu için nasıl kullanıldığını ayrıca açıklıyoruz:

• Ne zaman alınır: Varsayılan olarak yalnızca uygulamayı kullanırken. Uygulama kapalıyken konumunuz okunmaz. Ayarlar bölümündeki seyahat seçeneğini kendiniz açarsanız, telefon bulunduğunuz yeri belirgin biçimde değiştirdiğinde uygulama arka planda da konumunuzu okur. Bu seçenek varsayılan olarak kapalıdır, siz açmadan sorulmaz ve istediğiniz an kapatabilirsiniz. Açıkken de sürekli takip yapılmaz, yalnızca şehir değiştirmek gibi büyük konum değişikliklerinde ölçüm alınır.
• Ne kadar hassas: Yaklaşık 100 metre. 500 metreden küçük hareketleriniz dikkate alınmaz.
• Neden gerekli: "Size 40 km uzaklıkta 4.2 büyüklüğünde deprem" diyebilmek için sunucunun telefonun nerede olduğunu bilmesi gerekir.
• Geçmişiniz tutulmaz: Sunucuda yalnızca en son bilinen konumunuz durur. Nerelere gittiğinizin kaydı oluşturulmaz.
• İzin vermezseniz: Uygulama çalışmaya devam eder, deprem listesini ve haritayı görürsünüz. Sadece konuma bağlı uyarılar ve uzaklık bilgisi çalışmaz.
• Başka seçenek: Konum izni vermek istemiyorsanız Ayarlar'dan elle bir şehir seçebilirsiniz.

7.Bildirimler

Bildirimler Apple'ın bildirim sistemi üzerinden gönderilir. Bu yüzden telefonunuzun bildirim adresini saklamamız gerekir. Bildirimin içeriği (büyüklük, yer, uzaklık) Apple'ın sisteminden geçer, Apple'ın kendi gizlilik kuralları için Apple Gizlilik Politikası'na bakabilirsiniz.

Uygulamayı silerseniz Apple bu adresi geçersiz kılar ve sunucumuz bunu öğrendiğinde kaydınızı kendiliğinden siler.

8.Reklamlar

Sismy'nin ücretsiz sürümünde Google AdMob üzerinden reklam gösterilir. Reklamların seçilmesi ve gösterim sayısının ölçülmesi için Google şu bilgileri işleyebilir: internet adresiniz (IP), telefonunuzun reklam kimliği ve uygulamayı nasıl kullandığınıza dair genel bilgiler. Bu bilgiler bize gelmez, doğrudan Google'a gider.

• Size uygun reklamlar: Telefonunuz "bu uygulamanın sizi izlemesine izin veriyor musunuz?" diye sorduğunda izin vermezseniz, reklamlar ilgi alanlarınıza göre seçilmez. Reklam görmeye devam edersiniz, sadece size özel olmaz.
• Reklamsız kullanım: Uygulama içinden tek seferlik bir satın alma ile reklamları tamamen kaldırabilirsiniz. Ödeme Apple üzerinden yapılır. Kart bilgilerinizi biz görmeyiz.

9.Bilgileriniz kimlerle paylaşılıyor?

Deprem verileri, kamuya açık bilimsel kurumlardan gelir. Bu kurumlara sizinle ilgili hiçbir bilgi gitmez. Onlardan sadece deprem bilgisi alınır.

11.Bilgilerinizi nasıl koruyoruz?

• Uygulama ile sunucu arasındaki tüm bağlantı şifrelidir (tarayıcılardaki kilit simgesiyle aynı teknoloji).
• Telefonunuzun güvenlik kodu sunucuda okunabilir hâlde tutulmaz, yalnızca doğrulamaya yeten, geri çevrilemez bir karşılığı saklanır.
• Telefonunuzdaki kod, iOS'un korumalı saklama alanında durur.
• Sunucuya erişim sınırlıdır ve aşırı istek gönderilmesine karşı koruma vardır.
• Hiçbir güvenlik önlemi kusursuz değildir. Makul ve güncel önlemleri almayı taahhüt ediyoruz.

12.Bilgileriniz nerede işleniyor?

Bildirimlerin size ulaşabilmesi için bilgileriniz Apple'ın ve sunucu sağlayıcımızın sistemlerinden geçer. Sismy sunucusu Frankfurt, Almanya'da bulunur, yani Avrupa Birliği içinde, GDPR kapsamındaki bir bölgede.

13.Haklarınız

KVKK ve GDPR size aşağıdaki hakları tanır. Bunları kullanmak için bize yazmanız yeterli:

• Hangi bilgilerinizin kullanıldığını öğrenmek ve bir kopyasını istemek
• Bu bilgilerin ne için kullanıldığını öğrenmek
• Yanlış veya eksik bir bilgi varsa düzeltilmesini istemek
• Bilgilerinizin silinmesini istemek
• Kullanımının sınırlandırılmasını veya bilgilerinizin size teslim edilmesini istemek
• Verdiğiniz izni dilediğiniz zaman geri almak

Talebinizi sismy@spendryapp.com adresine yazın, en geç 30 gün içinde dönüş yaparız. Ücret alınmaz. Dilerseniz Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu'na (Türkiye) veya bulunduğunuz ülkedeki veri koruma kurumuna da başvurabilirsiniz.

14.Bilgilerinizi silmek

Üyelik olmadığı için silme işlemini doğrudan uygulamadan yapabilirsiniz:

1. Bildirimleri kapatın. Ayarlar › Bildirimler'den kapsamı "Kapalı" yapın. Sunucudaki kaydınız silinir.
2. Uygulamayı silin. Kaydınız kendiliğinden temizlenir.
3. Bize yazın. sismy@spendryapp.com adresine silme talebi gönderin.

Telefonunuzda duran bilgiler (deprem listesi, bildirim geçmişi, kaydettikleriniz) uygulamayı sildiğinizde telefondan tamamen kalkar.

15.Çocuklar

Sismy çocuklara yönelik bir uygulama değildir ve 13 yaşın altındaki kullanıcılardan bilerek bilgi toplamaz. Böyle bir durumu fark edersek ilgili bilgileri sileriz.

16.Değişiklikler

Uygulama geliştikçe bu sayfa da güncellenebilir. Önemli bir değişiklik olursa yukarıdaki tarih güncellenir ve uygulama içinde size bilgi verilir. En güncel hâli her zaman bu adreste bulunur.

Sismy, kamuya açık deprem verilerini gösterir. Deprem bilgileri ilk aşamada tahminidir ve ilgili kurumlar tarafından sonradan güncellenebilir. Sismy bir erken uyarı sistemi değildir. Bildirimlerin her zaman zamanında ulaşacağı garanti edilemez. Acil durumlarda bulunduğunuz ülkenin resmî afet kurumunu esas alın.

Sismy is an app that shows earthquake information and alerts you to shaking you might feel nearby. This page explains, in plain language, what information is used when you use Sismy, why, and what you can do about it.

1.What this page covers

The Sismy iPhone and Android apps, and the Sismy server they use to send notifications. If you open another website from inside the app (for example EMSC or USGS, where the earthquake data comes from), that site's own rules apply there.

2.Who is responsible for your information

In legal terms: the "data controller" under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the person named above.

• Name, email, phone number, address, none of it. There is no account system.
• No access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health data or calendar.
• Your information is never sold or rented.
• Your location is not tracked while the app is closed.

5.Why we use this information

6.More about your location

• When it's taken: by default, only while you are using the app. Not when the app is closed. If you turn on the travel option in Settings yourself, the app also reads your location in the background when the phone reports a significant change of place. That option is off by default, you are not asked for it until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time. Even when it is on there is no continuous tracking, only a reading when your location changes substantially, such as moving to another city.
• How precise: about 100 metres. Movements under 500 metres are ignored.
• Why it's needed: to be able to say "magnitude 4.2 earthquake 40 km from you", the server has to know where the phone is.
• No history: only your most recent location is kept on the server. No record of where you've been is created.
• If you decline: the app still works, you see the earthquake list and the map. Only location-based alerts and distances stop working.
• Another option: if you'd rather not grant location access, you can pick a city manually in Settings.

7.Notifications

Notifications are delivered through Apple's notification system, which is why we need to store your phone's notification address. The content of a notification (magnitude, place, distance) passes through Apple's system, see the Apple Privacy Policy for their own rules.

If you delete the app, Apple invalidates that address, and once our server learns this it deletes your record automatically.

8.Advertising

The free version of Sismy shows ads through Google AdMob. To choose ads and count how often they were shown, Google may process: your internet address (IP), your phone's advertising identifier, and general information about how you use the app. This information does not come to us, it goes directly to Google.

• Ads matched to you: when your phone asks whether you allow this app to track you, if you decline, ads are no longer matched to your interests. You still see ads, they're just not personalised.
• Ad-free use: a one-time purchase inside the app removes ads entirely. Payment is handled by Apple. We never see your card details.

9.Who your information is shared with

Earthquake data comes from public scientific institutions. Nothing about you is sent to them. We only receive earthquake information from them.

• All communication between the app and the server is encrypted (the same technology as the padlock in your browser).
• Your phone's security code is never stored in readable form on the server, only a one-way equivalent, enough to verify but not to reverse.
• On your phone, that code sits in iOS's protected storage.
• Access to the server is restricted, with protection against excessive requests.
• No security measure is perfect. We undertake to apply reasonable, up-to-date protections.

12.Where your information is processed

For notifications to reach you, your information passes through Apple's systems and our hosting provider's. The Sismy server is located in Frankfurt, Germany. İnside the European Union, in a region covered by the GDPR.

13.Your rights

KVKK and the GDPR give you the rights below. To use any of them, just write to us:

• Find out what information of yours is used, and get a copy
• Learn what it is used for
• Ask for anything wrong or incomplete to be corrected
• Ask for your information to be deleted
• Ask for its use to be restricted, or for your information to be handed to you
• Withdraw your consent at any time

Write to sismy@spendryapp.com, we reply within 30 days at the latest, free of charge. You may also contact the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or the data protection authority in your own country.

14.Deleting your information

Since there are no accounts, you can do this straight from the app:

1. Turn notifications off. Set the scope to "Off" in Settings › Notifications. Your server record is deleted.
2. Delete the app. Your record clears itself.
3. Write to us. Send a deletion request to sismy@spendryapp.com.

Information kept on your phone (earthquake list, notification history, saved items) is removed from the phone entirely when you delete the app.

15.Children

Sismy is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect information from users under 13. If we become aware of such a case, we delete the information.

16.Changes

This page may be updated as the app develops. For an important change, the date above is updated and you are told inside the app. The current version is always at this address.

Sismy shows publicly available earthquake data. Earthquake details are provisional at first and may later be revised by the issuing institutions. Sismy is not an early-warning system. Notifications cannot be guaranteed to always arrive in time. In an emergency, rely on official sources.
